MCT ReMan Ltd is a leading automotive remanufacturing company specialising in the remanufacture of transmission and engines. We are looking for motivated and reliable Multi-Skilled Production Operative to join our growing team
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, precision and teamwork are essential.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering or automotive production is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with automotive or mechanical components.
Understanding of gear-on-gear contact and its importance in ensuring correct assembly and product quality.
Experience carrying out sympathetic strip techniques to dismantle components without causing unnecessary damage.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools safely.
Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible and willing to work across different production areas when required.
The Opportunity:
You will work across key production departments including dismantle, wash, inspection, assembly, and test, playing a critical role in maintaining production throughput and quality standards.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for experienced operators who can add value quickly and perform with minimal supervision.
Salary: Between £14.90 per hour (overtime £22.35 per hour) to £16.00 per hour (overtime £24 per hour) depending on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Dismantle, inspect, and assemble automotive components.
Operate production machinery and equipment safely.
Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process.
Follow standard operating procedures and engineering instructions.
Maintain a clean and organised work area using 5S principles.
Work to daily production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
