Duties
- Greet guests warmly and make great customer service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing any queries or concerns professionally
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the service area
- Manage billing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain a tidy and organised front of house environment at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities to handle busy service periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bills accurately
- Experience in serving or kitchen environments is desirable, including culinary knowledge or kitchen experience
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
