Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide essential assistance and guidance to individuals in need. Duties
- rOffe personalised mentoring and emotional support our children and young people, encouraging their personal growth and confidence
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and household tasks
- Work closely with children, supporting their educational and social development through engaging activities
- Deliver teaching sessions aimed at developing life skills, literacy, numeracy, or specialised programmes depending on individual needs
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment by promoting positive behaviour and social interaction
- Collaborate with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored support plans
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of support provided and milestones achieved
- Organise recreational activities that promote learning and socialisation in a fun and supportive manner
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or vulnerable adults is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability in mentoring or coaching roles that involve guiding children and young people through personal or educational development programmes
- Experience in delivering teaching or training sessions tailored to diverse learning needs
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation relating to support work is advantageous

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,119.47 per year
