Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques to enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Engage with clients at the front desk by scheduling appointments, upselling products or services, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and best practices to foster professional growth within the team
- Stay current with industry trends and continuously develop your skills through attending training sessions and workshops
Skills
- Proven experience in salon operations is highly desirable
- Strong hairdressing skills complemented by expertise and a minimum of three years on the salon floor
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Effective communication skills for engaging clients and collaborating with team members
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Skilled at managing front desk responsibilities including scheduling and client inquiries
- Passionate about mentoring others and sharing knowledge to elevate team performance
