Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner (Casual) to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and organised
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks which may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work casual hours as required, including early mornings or late shifts if necessary
