Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Pilates classes tailored to a diverse clientele, promoting physical well-being, and ensuring a safe and motivating environment. The successful applicant will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and sports coaching principles, enabling them to personalise sessions effectively.
Duties
- Lead group and one-on-one Pilates classes, ensuring exercises are performed safely and correctly
- Develop customised workout plans based on individual client needs and fitness levels
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to guide clients through exercises
- Monitor clients’ form during sessions, offering modifications or adjustments as necessary
- Educate clients on proper breathing techniques and body alignment
- Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring equipment is sanitised after use
- Track client progress and provide feedback to support their fitness journey
- Stay updated with the latest Pilates techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, preferably with Pilates certification
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients of all ages and abilities
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy relevant to Pilates exercises
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain techniques clearly and effectively
- Organised, reliable, and professional in approach
- Passionate about promoting health and wellness through specialised exercise programmes
