Holbrook Primary School is a popular and highly-regarded two-form entry primary school located in Horsham, with 420 pupils from Reception to Year 6. Salary: MPS/UPS + SEND Allowance (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong track record of supporting pupils with SEND and raising achievement
- Hold the National SEND qualification (or be willing to achieve it within the required timeframe)
- Demonstrate a secure understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching approaches
- Lead and develop effective SEND provision across the school
- Work collaboratively with teachers/support staff to improve outcomes for pupils with additional needs
- Provide guidance, support and training to colleagues to enhance inclusive practice
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and external agencies
- Play a key role in safeguarding as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
