Experienced Groundworker Required
Cambridge Country Club is looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our construction and development team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and versatile groundworker to work on a variety of construction and development projects across our extensive site.
The Role
The successful candidate will have strong practical experience across a wide range of groundwork and construction activities, including:
- House building and construction projects
- Drainage installation and connections
- Foundations, footings and concrete works
- Ground preparation and excavation
- Kerbing, paving and other external works
- Landscaping and general grounds works
- Installation and maintenance of drainage systems
- Operating plant, machinery and relevant tools
- General construction and groundworks duties as required
- Working as part of a professional construction and grounds team
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and highly practical, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You should have:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker
- Strong experience in house builds and construction
- Good knowledge and experience of drainage installation and works
- Experience across a broad range of groundwork activities
- Ability to read and work from plans and specifications where required
- A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- Ability to operate relevant machinery and plant
- Relevant qualifications, plant tickets or CSCS certification would be advantageous
- A flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
