Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production and service delivery
- Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient teamwork and high-quality food preparation
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper handling of ingredients to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate daily menu execution, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Support food preparation activities by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring timely service
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to optimize kitchen resources
- Serve as a leader on the floor during busy hours, providing excellent hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive kitchen experience with a strong background in food production and culinary techniques
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse staff members
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking methods, and plating presentation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen environment
- Previous restaurant experience that highlights your ability to serve guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and a positive work atmosphere
Pay: £25,420.00-£42,039.77 per year
