Events Paparazzi Photographer, Flexible Part Time Work
About Events Paparazzi
Events Paparazzi is part of The Photo Team, one of the largest independent photography companies operating across London and the UK. We also work internationally, covering corporate events, private celebrations and high profile occasions.
We are expanding our Events Paparazzi team and are looking for enthusiastic photographers who want to use some of their spare time to gain paid experience working as an Events Papaparzzi Photographer at professional events.
The role
This is not a traditional event photography role. Our photographers work together to create the excitement and energy of a genuine paparazzi arrival experience.
You will be expected to:
- Attend events across London, primarily during evenings and weekends.
- Confidently approach, direct and interact with guests.
- Work alongside other Events Paparazzi photographers as part of a team.
- Capture professional, well exposed photographs in busy event environments.
- Edit your photographs after the event.
- Upload the completed photographs to our online platform within the required timeframe.
- Follow the event brief and instructions provided by the team.
Work is offered on an event by event basis, so this role is best suited to someone with some flexibility who wants to take on additional photography work alongside their existing commitments.
Who we are looking for
Personality is just as important as photography ability. You must be outgoing, confident and comfortable attracting attention. This role will not suit someone who is shy or reluctant to engage with guests.
Applicants must:
- Have a confident, outgoing and engaging personality.
- Speak clear and fluent English.
- Be comfortable working in loud, busy and crowded environments.
- Have a professional and reliable approach.
- Work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Own a FULL FRAME camera.
- Own a compatible hot shoe mounted flash.
- Know how to use their camera and flash confidently.
- Be able to edit photographs using Lightroom or another professional editing program.
- Have access to a desktop or laptop computer.
- Have reliable broadband with sufficient upload speed to transfer event galleries.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Be available during evenings and weekends, planned and at short notice.
Early stage photographers with the correct equipment, basic technical ability and the right personality are welcome to apply. Coaching and practical experience will be provided. Experienced professional photographers are also welcome, but must be comfortable working as part of a coordinated team and following a specific brief.
Recruitment process
- Application: Submit your CV and details of your photography experience through Indeed.
- Online interview: Suitable applicants will be invited to an online interview.
- Live event assessment: Applicants who progress beyond the interview will be invited to attend a real event and work alongside members of our established Events Paparazzi team and professional photographers.
Applicants should be available on the evening of Sunday 6 September 2026 and Friday 18th September 2026 for the live event assessment. We have some alternative assessment dates, which can be discussed during the interview.
Important information
- This is flexible, part time freelance work.
- Work is offered according to event bookings, and no minimum number of hours can be guaranteed.
- Events take place at different venues across London.
- A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required because some assignments involve schools or vulnerable groups. A criminal record will not automatically prevent an applicant from being considered. Each case will be assessed individually.
- Please only apply if you meet the equipment requirements, are genuinely interested in the role and can commit to the recruitment process.
If you enjoy photography, have a strong personality and are confident engaging with people, we would like to hear from you.
