Experienced Painter & Decorator – London | £180/day
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Painter & Decorator to assist us on jobs across London when required. We want someone we can build a good working relationship with and call when we need extra help, with possible upcoming work in Knightsbridge and Notting Hill.
We work on all types of properties and projects, across different budgets, so you must be confident carrying out decorating work to a professional standard.
You should be experienced in all main aspects of painting and decorating, including:
- Full preparation of walls, ceilings and woodwork
- Filling, sanding, caulking and making good
- Priming, undercoating and applying finishing coats
- Painting walls, ceilings, doors, frames, skirting boards and other woodwork
- Working with emulsion, eggshell, satin, gloss and other finishes
- Neat cutting-in and achieving clean, professional finishes
- Repairing cracks, holes and damaged surfaces
- Exterior painting and preparation, including timber sash windows, doors and exterior woodwork
- Protecting floors, furniture, windows and surrounding areas
- Keeping the job clean and tidy and working efficiently
- Working independently and as part of a team
Wallpapering experience is a bonus but is not essential.
CSCS Card is not required.
You must be experienced, punctual, trustworthy, tidy and reliable. We need someone we can call when required and trust to complete the work properly.
Pay: £180 per day, paid weekly
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm
Saturday: 8am–1pm
