This role is based on-site at Langdale Hotel and Spa, Ambleside, LA22 9JD.
Role Summary
As a Wainwrights Inn Food and Beverage Assistant, you'll ensure seamless food and beverage operations. Your role involves advising guests with precision on operational service times and available menus. Efficiently processing customer orders and upholding the highest standards in food and beverage presentation are central to your responsibilities. You’ll be promoting the very best of Lakeland hospitality in our warm, country pub, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and timeshare estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a well-stocked and organised bar area at all times
- Accurately record and monitor liquor usage and bar wastage
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the workplace
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries
- Deliver exceptional customer service that consistently exceeds guest expectations
- Handle customer concerns and complaints efficiently and professionally
- Build positive relationships with guests and stakeholders through regular interaction
- Maintain the highest levels of customer care and hospitality standards
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Wainwrights team
- Work collaboratively with the wider Langdale Food & Beverage team
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of service
- Assist in delivering outstanding food and beverage experiences for all guests
- Demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to teamwork and guest satisfaction
- Help ensure operational standards and service excellence are consistently achieved
- Play an active role in creating memorable culinary and hospitality experiences for guests at Langdale
