We are looking for a passionate, organised, and personable Wedding & Events Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in creating seamless, memorable events.
The Role
As a Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will guide couples from initial enquiry through to their wedding day, ensuring every detail is planned to the highest standard. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and the wider venue team to deliver exceptional customer service and flawless event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage weddings from initial booking through to the event day.
- Build strong relationships with couples, providing professional guidance throughout the planning process.
- Conduct venue show rounds and assist with enquiries.
- Prepare function sheets, table plans and other planning documents.
- Liaise with suppliers prior to and on the day of the wedding.
- Oversee wedding day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Resolve any issues professionally and calmly while maintaining exceptional guest experience.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure excellent communication.
- Maintain accurate records using event management systems.
- Support marketing activity by encouraging reviews, referrals, and social media content where appropriate.
- Opening and closing the venue, as well as assisting the turn around between weddings and events. Working alongside the team to follow procedures and maintain the standards of the Thicket Priory experience.

Essential Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in the wedding industry, with a hospitality background (minimum 2 years).
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport (due to our rural location).
