PCN Administrator
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced PCN Administrator to join us on a part-time and/or permanent basis at our Trevelyan House Surgery site.
Main Duties of the Role
You will support both clinical and non-clinical teams managing the patient communication and administration. You will be required to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to District Nurses, Coroner, Social Services and other third party agencies.

Job Description
In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Initiate contact with and respond to requests from patients, team members and external agencies.
- Action incoming emails – direct to relevant team, can onto patient’s healthcare records.
- Input data into the patients’ healthcare records as necessary.
- Processing Two Week Rule (TWR) referrals, monitor and run regular EMIS reports accordingly.
- FIT tests – maintain a clear record of FIT tests requested, chase ups, liaise with GPS where necessary.
- Carry out system searches as requested.
- Responsible for emails, AccuRx and Website dashboard – liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff to resolve patients’ requests.
- ERS support – manage all sections accordingly as well as organise and maintain framework for monitoring on a regular basis.
- Assist on-call DR with incoming requested from Social Services for completion of Section 17 and Section 47.
- Assist Senior Administrator with directing requests for information e.g. SAR, insurance/solicitors’ letters and DVLA forms, to the relevant team.
- Support all clinical staff with general tasks as requested.
- Manage all queries and responsibilities in an efficient manner.
Experience
An ideal candidate should have:
- Previous experience in a PCN in a same/similar role.
- High standard of IT proficiency including experience with Microsoft Office suite, EMIS, and AccuRx.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
