Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Optimal Cooling Ltd is a fast-growing air conditioning specialist, installing high-quality systems throughout Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas. We specialise exclusively in residential and light commercial air conditioning, delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service.
As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking to progress within a growing business.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation of residential air conditioning systems, including:
- Single split systems
- Multi-split systems
- Domestic concealed ducted air conditioning systems
- Commissioning and testing completed installations
- Producing high-quality, neat pipework, ductwork and trunking installations
- Providing excellent customer service on every project
- Working safely and maintaining high installation standards
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience installing air conditioning systems
- FGAS Category 1 certification
- Proven experience installing domestic split, multi-split and concealed ducted air conditioning systems
- A full UK driving licence
- Your own hand tools
- Excellent fault-finding and installation knowledge
- A professional attitude with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- CSCS Card
- IPAF
- PASMA
- NVQ in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 3:30pm
Overtime is regularly available and paid at 1.5x your basic hourly rate.
