Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for our patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a lively and dynamic setting, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and we value professionalism and a positive attitude.
Duties
- Serve drinks and refreshments efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain compliance standards
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as required
- Monitor guest behaviour to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Proven ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining professionalism
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
