Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble mechanical parts according to detailed specifications and diagrams
- Follow assembly instructions and work orders to ensure accurate construction of components and systems
- Inspect parts and assemblies for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production process
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot assembly issues promptly
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts used and reporting shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during assembly operations
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Solid understanding of assembly processes, including fitting, fastening, and aligning components
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory procedures and safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues accurately
