Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of house team member to join our team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment, ensuring customers feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. Previous Dry Cleaning and Laundry retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression and maintaining high standards of service. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly upon arrival and ensuring a smooth drop off and collection process
- Assisting customers with enquiries, and providing information about services and facilities
- Managing customers requests efficiently and courteously, resolving any issues promptly
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the retail area to uphold a professional appearance
- Handling administrative tasks such as customer orders and data entry using drystream management systems
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Upholding health and safety standards in all interactions and work areas
- Preparing customer orders
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations diplomatically
- Prior experience in a dry cleaning and laundry environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Must be able to work shifts from 07.30 - 16.00 Mon to Fri and 08.30 - 13.00 Saturdays (2/3 per month)
- This position could lead to a General Manager role
