Vehicle Technician – Kings Langley
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00 (1-hour lunch)

About the Role
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team at our well-established, family-run garage in Kings Langley. It is an excellent opportunity for either a Service Technician or a Master Technician looking to develop their career in a supportive environment. This is a varied and hands-on role delivering high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work across a variety of vehicles. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for reliability, transparency, and high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance work
- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults to a high standard
- Undertake mechanical repairs
- Accurately identify and record vehicle defects and advise on necessary repairs
- Complete MOT preparation and testing when required
- Deliver work to high standards within agreed time frames
- Efficiently record work completed and communicate clearly with service advisors
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For
- A recognised Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience in a similar role (either as a Service or Master Technician)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and contribute to team development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Professional, reliable, and positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
