Senior Barperson / Keyholder – Vic Farm, Wellingborough
Vicarage Farm Community Association (VFCA) is a busy hybrid community charity and private members venue based in Wellingborough. From live entertainment and major sporting events to private functions and community activities, our venue operates at the heart of the local community.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Barperson / Keyholder to join our team.
Minimum 2 years hospitality/bar experience required.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to somebody confident working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, leading shifts and supporting the wider team.
The successful applicant will:
- Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests.
- Lead and motivate staff during shifts.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety.
- Support day-to-day venue operations.
- Handle cash reconciliation and end-of-night procedures.
- Responsibly and securely close the premises.
- Uphold company standards and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout the venue.
We’re looking for somebody who:
- Is confident, reliable and approachable.
- Has strong leadership and communication skills.
- Works well under pressure in busy environments.
- Has a passion for hospitality and attention to detail.
- Can confidently upsell products and support bar promotions.
- Leads by example and works well as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years bar/hospitality experience.
- Availability for weekday evenings and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work flexible rota patterns.
- DBS check required for the successful applicant.
- Driving licence preferred.
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Wellingborough NN8 5WA.
