Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Gas Van Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering and exchanging gas cylinders and related products to various customer locations using a company van. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will ensure timely deliveries, outstanding customer service, and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate a company-provided van to deliver and exchange gas cylinders and supplies to commercial, and industrial clients
- Load and unload gas cylinders with proper lifting techniques, ensuring safety at all times
- Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and complete all required documentation accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers upon arrival, providing excellent service and answering any questions
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
- Good communication with team members
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling gas cylinders and related equipment
- Valid Counter Balance Forklift Certificate
- ADR Class 2 and 9 would be beneficial but training will be given
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £12.71-£14.42 per hour
