Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker with their own vehicle to provide high-quality support to clients in their homes. This role is exclusively for female applicants and involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or related fields, and possess a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. This position offers the opportunity to work flexibly across various locations, delivering personalised care tailored to each individual's needs.
Duties
- Provide personal care including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Help clients with mobility and light household chores to maintain a safe environment
- Engage in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Manage behaviour effectively, especially in clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Offer companionship and emotional support during visits
- Drive clients safely to appointments, social outings, or errands using own vehicle
- Monitor health status and report any concerns promptly to relevant healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and own reliable vehicle for client transportation
- Knowledge of medication administration, first aid, and basic health & safety procedures
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work across different shifts as required
- Willingness to undertake relevant training programmes to enhance skills and knowledge

- 8 Hour Contract but can offer full and part time hours

Pay: £13.45-£20.17 per hour
