Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cookie Packer to join our food production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing cookies in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring product quality and consistency. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Prior experience in food production or packaging is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Pack cookies accurately and efficiently into designated packaging,
- Follow HACCP guidelines and food safety protocols at all times to maintain product integrity and compliance.
- Conduct quality checks on packed products to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Operate basic mechanical equipment used in the packaging process, performing routine maintenance when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to hygiene standards throughout the shift.
- Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for inventory and quality control purposes.
- Assist with stock replenishment and organise packaging materials as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in food production or packaging is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with packaging machinery is an advantage.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately.
