Job Summary
Mitar Enviro Ltd are looking for a Clearance Technician / General Operative to join our team. We are a company based in Broxburn, West Lothian and we provide services throughout the central belt of Scotland.
Duties can vary greatly, but mainly include the clearance / cleaning of various properties & areas as required. The potential candidate should be prepared to work in unpleasant conditions, have a strong stomach and be able to deal with sharps, body fluids, pest species and all other aspects of void property clearances. Experience of this type of work would be ideal, however training will be provided.
A short probationary period will be required to ensure that both the candidate and the company are happy.
Starting salary will be National Minimum Wage, however, this will be negotiable for the right candidate and will increase when candidate is fully trained & proficient.
Job Type / Category
This is a full-time position.....typically 37.5 hours per week & normally Monday - Friday during normal working hours, however hours of work can vary and some flexibility is required.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should be experienced in heavy duty cleaning, be strong and physically fit, flexible, reliable and able to work both on their own and as part of a team. They should also be able to communicate with clients & tenants, etc effectively, as well as feed back relevant information to supervisors and colleagues. The job involves managing your own day, finding your way to jobs and following all instructions / guidelines given, whilst still using your initiative where appropriate.
A full driving licence is necessary and the candidate must be comfortable & capable of driving, maneuvering and parking a large van.
