Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Bank Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Supervise and care for children in the nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's daily experiences
- Support colleagues through teamwork and sharing best practices
- Assist with daily administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and activity planning
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and safeguarding protocols
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and enthusiasm in caring for young children
- Relevant nursery or childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Education)
- Valid driving license is advantageous
