The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer to join our Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and working with the HR Manager to provide HR and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, acting as a first point of contact for HR queries and supporting line managers with policies, procedures and employee relations matters.
- Responsibilities include maintaining HR records, monitoring absence, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll reporting, training administration, employee engagement initiatives, and wider HR projects while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with employment law and GDPR
(Full JD will be provided on application)
About You
- Working knowledge of current UK employment legislation
- Experience of employee relations matters such as disciplinary and grievances.
- Experience of absence management, including recording, monitoring and advising managers of absence policy & process
- Exposure to the full recruitment process from, job advertising, short listing, interviews, offers of employment and contractual paperwork, induction and onboarding, probation reviews, through to leavers, and exit interviews.
- Performance management experience including performance improvement plans (PIPs) and performance development plans (PDPs)
- Experience of using a HRIS is beneficial
2+ years working within a HR generalist position
CIPD Level 3 or above desirable

37.5 hrs a week
