Sales Assistant (38–40 Hours) – Scarborough & Whitby
Permanent Full-Time Position – Includes Regular Weekend Working
£13.00 per hour
Vape Safe is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Sales Assistant to join our team, working 5 days per week (38–40 hours) across our Scarborough and other stores.
This role is primarily based in Scarborough but will require regular travel between locations. Weekend working is an essential part of the position, and applicants must be flexible with their availability.

Important Requirements
Before applying, please note:
- You will be required to work across our Scarborough, Whitby and occasionally Bridlington stores as business needs require.
- Regular weekend work (including Saturdays and Sundays) forms part of the rota.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, is essential.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
- Mileage expenses will be paid for travel between stores.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Hard-working and reliable.
- Confident with a big personality.
- Enthusiastic and full of energy.
- Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys working with people.
- Experienced in customer service and/or sales.
- Comfortable working towards targets and goals.
- Has vaping industry knowledge or a genuine interest in vaping products and helping customers quit smoking.
- Aged 18 or over.
- Able to travel between stores as required.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Helping customers find the right products and supporting them on their journey away from smoking.
- Building product knowledge and offering expert advice.
- Working towards store targets, promotions and challenges.
- Operating tills and handling cash accurately.
- Following Challenge 25 procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.
- Supporting colleagues across multiple store locations.
