Residential Property Legal Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Residential Property Legal Assistant to join our busy conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within residential property law and gain valuable experience supporting fee earners and clients throughout the conveyancing process.
The Role
Working alongside our residential property solicitors and conveyancers, you will provide administrative and legal support across a varied caseload of residential property transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Opening and maintaining client files and ensuring records are kept accurately.
- Preparing and issuing correspondence and legal documentation.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
- Assisting with searches, enquiries, exchange and completion.
- Requesting and reviewing relevant property information and documentation.
- Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team.

- Accurate and attentive to detail.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team.
- IT literate, with experience using case management systems an advantage.
- Professional, approachable and committed to providing excellent client service.
- Previous experience in a legal assistant, conveyancing or residential property role is desirable.
- Must drive and have access to your own vehicle.

Pay: From £25,500.00 per year
