Door Supervisor – Coventry & Rugby
Locations: Coventry & Rugby
Pay: £13.25 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience and venue)
We are currently recruiting professional, reliable, and customer-focused Door Supervisors to join our team working across a range of busy bars, pubs, and late-night venues in Coventry and Rugby.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals looking for regular weekend and evening work in the nightlife industry.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Smart, professional appearance
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with conflict professionally
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
- Previous experience in the licensed trade is desirable but not essential
Key Responsibilities
- Controlling entry and exit to licensed premises
- Checking identification and ensuring compliance with venue entry policies
- Providing a welcoming and professional first impression for customers
- Monitoring customer behaviour and maintaining a safe environment
- Preventing and managing conflict using effective communication and de-escalation techniques
- Removing individuals from the premises where necessary, using lawful and reasonable force only when required
- Conducting regular patrols of the venue and surrounding areas
- Liaising with venue management, staff, police, and emergency services when required
- Responding to incidents, emergencies, and first aid situations where appropriate
- Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with licensing objectives and company procedures
