Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Line Marking Operative to join our team. Duties
- Assist in the preparation and marking of lines on various surfaces, including roads, sports pitches, and industrial areas.
- Support the application of line marking materials using specialised equipment under supervision.
- Maintain and clean tools and machinery used in line marking operations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Help with surface inspections and minor surface maintenance tasks as directed.
- Drive company vehicles to different sites when required, subject to holding a valid driving licence.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary; full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Basic understanding of management principles is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to undertake maintenance tasks and operate simple machinery after training.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for driving company vehicles between sites.
- Reliable, punctual, organised, and eager to learn new skills. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in line marking operations with opportunities for professional development within the organisation.
