Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
A private household in London is seeking an experienced and professional Lady Housekeeper to join the household on a full-time basis.
This role is ideally suited to candidates with a proven background working in private residences, UHNW households, family offices, or luxury hospitality environments. Applications from candidates without relevant professional housekeeping experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the residence to an exceptional standard, ensuring all areas of the home are clean, organised, and beautifully presented at all times.
Duties will include:
- Full housekeeping of the residence
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Bed making and linen changes
- Care of fine furnishings, delicate fabrics, and household items
- Organising household supplies and ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Preparing guest rooms and ensuring the property remains guest-ready
- Reporting maintenance issues where required
- Assisting with periodic deep cleaning and household projects
- Upholding the highest levels of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper within a private household, UHNW residence, luxury hotel, or similar environment
- Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- A professional, discreet, and trustworthy approach
- The ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent references from previous employers
- The right to work in the United Kingdom
