Prestons is looking for an organised, proactive and digitally minded Digital & Content Marketing Executive to support the day-to-day delivery of our digital marketing and content activity.
This is a varied, hands-on role spanning content, social media, email marketing, website management, SEO, PPC and digital reporting as well as administrative responsibilities. While strong writing skills and creative judgement are important, this is equally a role for someone who enjoys the structured, operational and administrative side of digital marketing.
As a luxury retailer working alongside some of the world’s leading brands, much of our marketing activity operates within clearly established brand guidelines and approval processes. You will therefore need to be comfortable applying creativity within these parameters, rather than always starting with a blank canvas.
The role would suit someone with 1–3 years’ digital marketing experience who combines excellent written communication with strong organisation, attention to detail and a genuine curiosity to continue developing their digital expertise.
About You
You will be an organised, curious and proactive digital marketer who enjoys both the creative and structured elements of marketing, inclusive of administration.
You will be comfortable working within established processes and brand guidelines and understand that excellent marketing isn’t always about creating something completely new. Often, it is about executing consistently, accurately and effectively across multiple channels.
You will have:
- 1–3 years’ experience within digital marketing, content marketing or a similar role.
- Excellent content writing and copywriting skills – this is essential.
- Experience supporting or managing social media activity.
- Some experience or understanding of PPC and paid digital marketing.
- An understanding of SEO and digital content best practice.
- Experience of email marketing and digital campaign delivery would be advantageous.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and recurring activities simultaneously.
- A methodical approach and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to understand and consistently work within strict brand guidelines and established approval processes.
- A naturally proactive attitude and the confidence to identify opportunities, solve problems and suggest improvements.
- Genuine curiosity about digital marketing and an interest in understanding why activity performs as it does.
- A strong appetite for continual learning, including developing your knowledge of SEO, PPC, analytics, emerging platforms and digital technologies.
- The ability to balance creativity with commercial requirements, brand consistency and process.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working across Marketing, Creative and the wider business.
