New Business Development Executive – German Market (Remote / Hybrid / Coventry)| £32,000–£37,000 base + uncapped commission
About the role
C4 Logistics is one of Europe's leading time-critical and expedited transport providers, and we're expanding our German-market sales team. We're hiring a German-speaking New Business Development Executive to hunt and win new customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, from initial call through to signed account.
This is a full-cycle new-business role: outbound prospecting, discovery calls, capability presentations, and closing. Everything is done by phone, video, and email, no travel required unless you want it.
Where you'll work
Your choice of fully remote (UK-based), hybrid, or full-time in our Coventry office. All three are equally supported.
What you'll do
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities across the DACH region using cold, warm, and referral leads
- Run discovery and capability calls in German with prospects, freight managers, supply chain leads, and operations directors at German-speaking companies
- Close new accounts and hand them cleanly to our operations team
- Grow the accounts you win: upsell existing services, chase referrals, spot expansion opportunities
- Keep our CRM clean and current so we know exactly what's in the pipeline
What we're looking for
- Fluent German (spoken and written) plus strong professional English, you will be selling in German and reporting in English
- 2+ years' B2B outbound sales experience; you will have prospected, run discovery calls, handled objections, and closed. Not just SDR/lead-gen, you have owned the close
- Confident and articulate on the phone - this is a phone-first role
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, especially if remote
- Experience selling into freight, logistics, or time-critical transport is a strong plus but not essential, if you can sell and you know the German market, we'll teach you the freight
Hours
Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00 UK time, matched to the German business day (08:00–17:00 CET), so you'll always be reachable when your prospects are working. No shift rotation, no weekends.
What we offer
- £32,000–£37,000 base, depending on experience
- Uncapped commission on new business, realistic first-year OTE £50,000–£60,000, with top performers earning significantly more
- Additional monthly Individual Performance bonus on top of commission (£3,000/annum)
