Fire Door Installer’s Assistant

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Fire Door Installer’s Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a carpentry or construction background who is looking to gain experience within the fire protection industry and work alongside experienced installers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fire door installers on commercial and residential projects
- Recording completed works accurately with photographs and reports
- Loading/unloading materials and preparing work areas
- Supporting with installation and remedial works on fire doors
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Keeping sites clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
- General finishing to and around doorsets
- Travelling to sites across the North
Requirements
- Previous construction, carpentry, or labouring experience preferred
- Right to work UK
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be polite, professional, and respectful when dealing with residents and clients
- Must have own basic hand tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be willing to travel and stay away when required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
