Due to an internal promotion, we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Club Operations Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Supporting the Club Operations Manager, you'll help oversee the daily running of our busy clubhouse, bar and events operation, ensuring an outstanding experience for members, guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the clubhouse, bar and events.
- Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest enquiries.
- Act as Duty Manager when required.
- Manage staffing, rotas, stock control, cellar operations and cash handling.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, food safety and health & safety.
- Coordinate functions and events to ensure seamless delivery.
- Work closely with the wider management team to achieve operational excellence.
About You
Essential
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality or a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
Desirable
- Hospitality qualification.
- Food Safety and Health & Safety certifications.
- Cellar management experience.
This is a full-time position within a seven-day operation, so flexibility is required, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
