Ensuring the security and safety of premises and people at large, multi-site sites.
Working in a small security operations team, you will travel around and between sites to carry out a range of duties including:
- To patrol outside sites in marked patrol vehicle and on foot.
Secure Locking and unlocking of premises.
- Patrolling buildings, public areas, car parks and grounds on foot to deter and detect problems.
- Driving a marked security vehicle to carry out external mobile patrols and travel between sites
- Attending and managing emergencies, including alarm activations.
- Investigating and writing detailed reports on incidents, liaising with police and other third parties as necessary.
Hours of work are typically 48 hours/week covering Monday – Sunday, days and nights. Pay rate is £13.10/hour.
A driving licence and SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license are essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:
- Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
- Five years’ checkable history and references
- Computer literacy
