Pump & Electric Motor Service Engineer

MTP Services is looking for an intelligent, organised, and motivated individual to join our engineering team as a Pump & Electric Motor Service Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the pump and motor repair sector who is looking to develop their career within a growing and skilled engineering environment.
Training will be given on both the mechanical and electrical skills, particularly on the electrical side of the role.
The Role
tYou will be responsible for the inspection, dismantling, repair, overhaul, and reassembly of a wide range of pumps and electric motors. Approximately 20% of the pumps worked on are used within the grey water sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Overhaul, repair, and service pumps and electric motors.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Dismantle, clean, inspect, and rebuild equipment to high standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Complete job records and reports accurately.
- Work effectively as part of a skilled team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pump and electric motor repair, servicing, or overhaul or good mechanical aptitude.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new engineering skills.
