Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, suggest menu items, and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction
- Prepare and assemble food items following food safety standards and quality guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including kitchen areas and dining spaces
- Assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders to guests
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and prioritization
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and fostering teamwork
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper handling of food and beverages
- Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy, billing, and inventory checks
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services and teamwork
- Experience in serving or food preparation is a plus; kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle fast-paced environments effectively
