Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter & Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the painting, and logistics operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying protective coatings, and safely operating forklifts to handle materials and equipment. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting or coating applications
- Apply paint, primers, or protective finishes using spray guns or brushes with precision and attention to detail
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and position materials or equipment within the facility
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Handle materials efficiently, including loading and unloading shipments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by documenting inventory movements using management systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in systems and materials handling processes
- Valid forklift certification with demonstrated safe operation skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting
- Prior warehouse experience involving load & unload activities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly and perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and inventory management tasks
