Overview
Pro Facilities is looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to assist our engineers with the installation, maintenance and repair of roller shutters and automatic doors.
This is a hands-on role with an opportunity to learn valuable skills in a specialist industry. Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting engineers with the installation, servicing and repair of roller shutters and automatic doors
- Loading and unloading tools, equipment and materials
- Preparing equipment and materials before attending jobs
- Safely using basic hand and power tools
- Helping engineers diagnose and resolve faults
- Keeping company vehicles, tools and work areas clean and organised
- Following instructions from engineers and site supervisors
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Wearing the required PPE and working safely at all times
- Providing a polite and professional service at customer premises
- Travelling to commercial and industrial sites
- Carrying out general labouring and maintenance duties
- Reporting damaged equipment, hazards or safety concerns
- Assisting with accurate job records and paperwork when required
Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Positive and professional attitude
- Good awareness of workplace safety
- Experience in construction, maintenance or a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable to be apart of on call rota

Please note this role may require you to travel around England, Ireland and other European destinations .
Some early starts, travel and occasional overtime may be required depending on the work schedule.
