Job description
We are seeking, a well-organised, and pro-active Bookkeeper/ ISO Administrator with a good level of common sense. You will need working knowledge of computer systems, MS Office 365 in particular the use of MS Excel, Outlook, and Access. You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a good eye for detail, and be a true team player. The ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines is an essential feature of this job.
Candidate requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in a financial/office setting in the UK.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time keeping and self-management skills.
- Committed and focused on quality output.
- Highly organised.
- Data Entry.
- Accurate in your work, great attention to detail.
- Previous experience with QuickBooks or Sage.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook, in particular).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a small friendly team as well as individually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone and incoming emails.
- Purchase ledger.
- Bank reconciliations; weekly/monthly.
- Quarterly VAT exports from PLEO for expense cards.
- Set up suppliers’ payments, Authorise for Directors to pay.
- Liaise with suppliers with regards to financial matters.
- Setting up new customers/ hospitals (completing the new supplier forms and additional forms.
- Check client invoices and send by email.
- Allocate remittance payments to the sales ledger.
- Credit/Debtor Control.
- Reconciliation NHS SC/other hospital statements/balances.
- Raise credit notes where necessary.
- Downloading HMRC PVA reports.
- Completing product catalogues for Trusts.
- ISO – Responsible for operational system processes on daily basis.
- Quick Books reports for Carbon Reduction Plan and Evergreen Assessment.
- ISO Quarterly Audits.
- Quarterly charge Spreadsheets.
- Registering for Tax.
- Order processing/packing/shipping when necessary.
- Keep office/stock room/meeting room tidy and organised.
- General Administration as and when required.
