Job Overview
We are looking for an Apprentice Body Piercer to join our team in Harrogate.
This is a long-term career opportunity for someone who wants to become a professional body piercer. Previous customer service or retail experience would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine desire to learn.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and has a keen eye for detail. Professionalism, reliability and a willingness to learn are far more important to us than previous piercing experience.
As an apprentice, you will learn every aspect of running a professional piercing studio. Alongside learning safe piercing techniques, you will gain experience in client care, jewellery knowledge, anatomy, aftercare, sterilisation procedures, studio hygiene and the day-to-day operation of the business. Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and providing an outstanding experience for every client are just as important as learning to pierce.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Available to work every weekend (with two weekdays off)
- Friendly, professional and reliable
- Comfortable working in a clinical environment and following strict hygiene protocols
- Eager to learn and build a long-term career within the body piercing industry

- National Minimum Wage during your apprenticeship (paid in line with your age)
- Clear progression to Junior Piercer (£15.00 per hour) and Senior Piercer (£17.00 per hour)
