Bricklayer / Bricklaying Gang
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Bricklayer to join our construction team for a range of ongoing building projects. We are also open to hearing from an established Bricklaying Gang. This is a paid role offering consistent work for skilled individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining site standards.
Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks and other masonry materials accurately in line with drawings, specifications and site requirements.
- Carry out all aspects of brick and block work on commercial construction projects.
- Build, repair and maintain walls, partitions, foundations and other structural elements.
- Read and interpret drawings and technical plans to ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently.
- Measure and set out work areas to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the build.
- Use hand tools, power tools and relevant site equipment safely and effectively.
- Work alongside site managers, labourers and other trades to keep projects running to schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area at all times.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer on construction sites.
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- Ability to work from drawings and follow technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying methods, materials and site practices.
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Own tools and transport are preferred.
- We are also happy to hear from an experienced Bricklaying Gang.
