The opportunity
We're looking for a Yard Operative to join us. In this role you'll load, pick, move and store materials safely and efficiently, providing helpful service to customers and drivers. You'll be hands-on, safety-first and proud of the work you deliver. We're looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us. In this role you'll receive, store, pick and dispatch goods safely and accurately, supporting efficient branch fulfilment. You'll be hands-on, safety-first and proud of the work you deliver.
What you'll be doing
- Load and unload vehicles safely.
- Pick and prepare customer orders.
- Operate FLT/equipment where licensed.
- Assist customers and drivers in the yard.
- Receive, check and store goods.
- Maintain stock condition, accuracy and housekeeping.
- Support dispatch.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties or requests as directed by management, provided the post-holder is trained and competent to do so and the task can be carried out safely.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 17.00pm
Fridays 8:00am – 16.00pm
Saturdays (alternating) 8am-12.30pm.
