Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Brunch / Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes in a fast-paced, hospitality environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong culinary background to showcase their skills, lead kitchen operations during morning service, and contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and brunch dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Supervise kitchen staff during morning shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient food production
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Have the ability to help lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
- Excellent food preparation skills with an eye for detail in presentation
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Good understanding of hospitality service standards, including serving procedures
- Ability to work early mornings and adapt to a flexible schedule aligned with breakfast service hours
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff.
