This advert is FTC gap to 2 Feb 2027 rather than 6 months from start date where the successful applicant would be based on our 19 bed gastroenterology ward and also have a commitment to the out of hours acute medical on-call rota (at SHO level).
The post would be particularly useful for doctors that have completed FY2 and are looking for a role that allows them to develop the skills and confidence to move into core training. It is an opportunity to gain experience in managing in-patient luminal gastroenterology and hepatology in a well-supported, consultant led team. There is also opportunity for learning and development beyond the in-patient work as we have on-site endoscopy and outpatient clinics, which successful applicants will have opportunity to experience.
