We are a friendly and respectful household of three (with dogs) looking for a reliable and proactive person to help keep our home running smoothly during the day.
This is a varied but manageable role, ideal for someone seeking part-time work that fits around school hours. All tasks are light and easily manageable within the hours—this is not a demanding or high-pressure role.
Set in a peaceful, private location, this role offers a calm and consistent working environment.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning and tidying
- Laundry and ironing
- Simple meal preparation (light tasks only)
- Food shopping and keeping household supplies stocked
- Occasional errands (e.g. post office, dry cleaning)
- Basic/light gardening and outdoor tidying
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, trustworthy, and organised
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- A practical, friendly, and helpful approach
- Previous housekeeping or similar experience helpful but not essential
Important Information
- Due to the rural location (no public transport access), a full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred for most candidates
- However, applicants who live locally and can reliably travel by bicycle or on foot (approx. 1.6 miles from Princes Risborough) are very welcome to apply
- Comfortable working in a home with dogs
- We can support with obtaining a DBS check if required
