Job Overview
Responsibilities We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate must have an ADR license and will be responsible for safely transporting goods and trailers within a petro chemical enviroment, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. Experience with Tankers and commercial driving is highly desirable.
Normal working hours are 07.00 to 16.00 Monday to Friday. No nights out Guaranteed 9 hours per day.
- Safely operate lorries, including Tankers,Vac Tankers and Flatbeds.compliance with all road safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Plan work effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to legal driving hours.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record,and ADR License.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver,
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Good communication skills for liaising with dispatch teams

Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
