The firm is looking for an ambitious and proactive Event Sales Executive to support commercial growth by generating leads, building strong client relationships and driving event sales revenue.

The Event Sales Executive will play a key role in driving new business opportunities and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to conversion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong commercial pipeline, developing client relationships and contributing to revenue growth through event sales and partnerships.
The role requires a confident communicator with strong commercial awareness, excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Generate high-quality leads through proactive outreach, networking, referrals and digital channels
- Build, manage and maintain a strong commercial sales pipeline
- Identify and convert new business opportunities aligned with revenue targets
- Manage enquiries from initial discovery through to proposal development, follow-up and closing deals
- Deliver engaging and persuasive sales presentations and pitches
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the wider business
- Develop and manage supplier partnerships including venues, AV suppliers, caterers and production partners
- Support collaborative bids, sponsorship opportunities and joint ventures where required
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure all pipeline activity is updated regularly
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management
- Recommend improvements to sales processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
- Work closely with the event production team to ensure smooth project handovers and excellent event delivery
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, promotional activity and lead generation initiatives
- Contribute positively to a commercially focused and collaborative team culture
- Provide support across wider business development activities when required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in event sales, marketing sales or agency sales
- Proven track record of achieving and delivering commercial revenue targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience managing sales pipelines and using CRM systems
- Ability to create compelling proposals and confidently close deals
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience within sponsorship sales
- Knowledge of public sector procurement and tender processes
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Previous experience within a start-up or high-growth business environment
- Existing network within the events and supplier industry
- Commercially focused and target driven

- Confident and credible when engaging with senior stakeholders
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented with strong administrative skills
