We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Children Law team at our Margate office. Previous experience of working within children's law would be an advantage and experience of family law or legal aid work would be welcome.
This is a busy and varied role requiring excellent organisation and attention to detail. You will need to work efficiently, use your initiative and be confident managing competing priorities. Strong organisational and IT skills are important, together with the ability to learn and use the different systems and online portals involved in this area of work.
Our Children Law team supports clients who are often facing difficult and challenging circumstances. You will therefore need to be respectful, approachable and patient, communicating clearly and sensitively while maintaining a professional manner.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent client care and enjoys being part of a team. You will be confident, adaptable and proactive, with the ability to manage a busy diary and help ensure that our lawyers and clients receive a consistently high standard of support.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Margate office, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The role comes with 25 days’ holiday per annum.
